Hadn't heard about Ford sending tracts to Hitler in 1939, and I don't
exactly agree with the premise of Steely's comments as follows--
>
> Now look how easy it is for Ford to atone. There should have been war
> crimes trials, where Ford, GE, Texaco, and Standard Oil executives
could've
> been held up for public obloquy and sentenced to long prison terms or the
> quiet exit of cyanide capsules.

--(atone? elided? (by a single sponsorship?) and war crimes?) but how
could I even think of putting Ted through another rehashing of Ford's
anti-Semitism since I know he's already witnessed the horrible exchange
that took place in rec.arts.books about 14 months ago? Suffice to say that
in those days I relied heavily on "Blood In the Face," James Ridgeway's
Steely-approved book about the KKK, Aryan Nations, Nazis Skinheads, and
other whacko and decidedly uncivil foax.

If for some incomprehensible reason anyone wants more on this, just enter
"davemarc ford" in the "Old" DejaNews search organ and proceed from there.
Blah blah blah.
