I don't want to rehash my support for Steely's conclusions so I'll
content myself with adding to Steely's recommendations of related
material. I recently finished Burrough's Naked Lunch and, having
mentioned such to my sister-out-law, subsequently acquired his superb
sequence of readings available on CD/vinyl under the title `Spare Ass
Annie'.
I recommend those who take the bait on Schindler's somewhat more than
ambiguous humanitarianism to listen to Burroughs' `Mildred P----
reporting' (cannot for the life of me remember that last name,
Pierce?) where he mimics a US officer standing by as troops rape women
in fur coats in downtown Manhattan "You have to take a liberal view of
it". Glad to see Ford's liberality is not on the wane.
