Are there really mail programs that only show the sender and don't 
show the subject? If I'm tired of a SUBJEC,T I delete messages with 
that subject heading. If I tire of a particular SENDER (no not you, 
Mr. O'Hara, and not even...), then I might delete or automatically 
filter all messages from that sender. Perhaps this is part of why I 
am not a Luddite.
