I think it's totally relevant that on this day in 1943 George Harrison
was born, in 1957 Buddy Holly recorded "That'll Be the Day," and in
1967 the Beatles released Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields. Bob Fuhrel

Rather than encourage the genuinely wasted human bandwidth that would
occur if people start sending messages that are both truly irrelevant
to this list and are unfilterable by the non-repetitive nature of
their subjects, I am bowing out of sending "On this day" messages.
But, while a have the floor for a moment:
Strange that people who don't have the time to delete a clearly
marked message have the time to write at length on the subject.
I did endeavor to filter the data that I posted and ensure that it
was always within a couple of degrees of seperation from TRP or
recurring P-list themes.
Do you ask your bookstore to take out the romance novels to make room
for great literature?
And now back to the Schindler's List list.
