I suppose you were not to know, Henry, but being a good German I
posted email to John Rigney *straight away* congratulating him on the
finer points of his dayboo err, . . . eructation. Hate speech? Or just
taking the piss? The latter, I am afraid. Console yourself, Henry,
with the knowledge that he is far too savvy (no academic he, surely)
to hate.
