Please don't equate non-reaction with tacit approval - if we all had to
react to every message that we disapprove of on the list, we'd never
have any time to do anything else. We all have different limits on how
much crap we can tolerate without throwing it at the fan.
I'd go a step further, Murthy. Non-reaction is the BEST form of
DISapproval. Or, I should say, WOULD BE the best form.
Unfortunately, it's the form requiring the most self-discipline, which
is probably why it's so seldom practiced.
To clarify, the p-list is not forties Germany. Being silent isn't going to result in anybody's getting killed.
