GRGR(11): TRP gay?

Andrew and foax-

Would a reading of GR be necesarily different if he was?  I'm of the 
opinion that for a time TRP went both ways.  
and if he was, wouldn't there be a more sympathetic overly gay male major 
character in GR? I realize this is a specious remark but just a thought.
