Oh yeah, that was why the audience (journalists) was puzzled.  They knew 
that Reagan's Army unit never left Hollywood.

In a speech written by Buchanan, to give blame where it is due -- and 
never recanted or repudiated in any way by any American administration, 
as far as I know.
