Newark, yeah.  Suddenly I'm seeing frames from "Ernie" -- a-and Ernie, 
Uncle Sid, Dr. Pork et al. are looking like Pynchon characters.... 
Ernie's girlfriend Doris, I dunno; Pynchon would do something weirder 
with her, but then he doesn't have to get printed in family newspapers.
