first:  can anybody tell what JR is?

reading:

matt ruff--fool on the hill; first 40 pages are silly but it is a wonderful
book to combat imsomnia with....

miguel torga--piedras labradas; wonderful short stories by a portuguese master

w.s.burroughs--the adding machine; what can i say i'm partial to the old junky

always on hand:
-invisible cities--italo calvino
GR of course
Popol Vuh
Mark Leyners "Wild Kingdom" column in esquire
tokyo montana express--richard brautigan

on shelf and next in line:
just finished days between stations by s. erickson so i plan to continue with
the trilogy

latin playboys
hole
juanita hall-the original bloody mary
butterglory
mninutemen--double nickel on the dimes

(mostly though i just read tons of email from pynchon-l....go figure)
