Since this is a T.R.P. group, I thought I would let you know that I am
currently listening to Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys (pretty good, but not
exactly what I expected). Additionally, I am listening to Vivaldi's Four
Seasons and trying to imagine it being played by a chorus of kazoos.
Lastly, on the listening front, I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can
get a bootleg copy of the Thanatoids Jaco Pastoriousesque (is that right)
"Thanatoid World" or even a copy of the Paranoids "Miles Song."

According to Andrew Gordon's account of "Getting Stoned with Thomas
Pynchon" when Pynchon was "stoned" his music of choice (at least from
that which was available on the jukebox) was Procol Harum's "Whiter Shade
of Pale" and the Stones "Ruby Tuesday."

Question for the group: I seem to recall that TRP makes reference in one
of his novels to playing pool or billards or maybe a reference to a
famous player of the games. If anyone knows of this reference, please
post or e-mail me. Thank you.

Word to the wise: keep your wieght in moderation because you never want
to be "too fat to frug" or "too slim to swim."

Hasta
