Burroughs

Yesterday I picked up "With William Burroughs", interviews with WSB 
by Victor Bockris. Seems worthwhile, 'cause Bill (I hope we can 
agree) has "voice." One voice. His own.

I've heard him read a coupla times. Embarrassed to admit one time he 
autographed a first paperback edition of Naked Lunch. The other time, 
I asked him to autograph a tape I had made of the reading. He looked 
at me, looked at the tape, and wrote on it "Contents Unknown" and 
signed. Smart man.
