It's like deja vu all over again. Listen and repeat:
An email message is just a document, as is a piece of paper. Nothing
to be afraid of there.. <smirk> There aren't any moving parts. <grin>
An attachment/enclosure with a document is more like a package. You
can still read the text/message which is, in effect, written on the
outside of the package. But if you don't know the sender, don't open
the package. It could contain moving parts, ie bad code, such as an
executable program or "macro" code.
For you webheads out there: when messages gain multi-media java code,
it could be a whole other ball of string.
