You have my position exactly right, except that I'm not talking about mere
words, but whole themes and I don't consider Gravity's Rainbow a callous
attack on some of my friends, but a generally insensitive and dehumanizing
work of political satire based on a hidden agenda that is opposite to the
one that seems to be perceived on pynchon-l.
