To J. Wells--

I just want to say that it is disgusting to take someone's private email and
 post it at large along with one's devastatingly insightful retorts.  It would
 be disgusting even if the retorts were utterly inane drivel.  You bring the list to 
even lower forms of behavior with this cowardly and indefensible move.
  I respect your position, even the
 point you were (IMO too stridently) trying to make, but it's hard 
 to respect what you did to P 13's post.  Why on earth did you open
 that can of worms insteading of fighting in prvate (as Andrew and I do
 when we get too tedious for the list to bear --eh, Andyboy?)

Does that mean that anyone sending you
 a private email has to wonder if you'll be posting it to all?

And do we have to wonder if you've ushered in a whole new era 
of *trust* on the list?  If so, well done Wells.
