The truth concerning meshugginah posts

Meshuggunah Posts can be found throught the city of London. They were used to 
tie up gin-sodden or other absurd buggers outside in the street, allowing taven
keepers and pub-crawlers a little piece with their pie and pint free from 
the mad drivel which otherwise might pile up in the fetid air round about them. 
Passer-byes would point out to their children---"Look their, young Henry. Do not
act like a Meshggunah, or you too shall be tied to a post of an evening.
