credibility of Jules' reports

I had an extensive correspondence with him off-list. I attempted to answer
each of his questions and I even did a considerable amount of research on
the permissions debate, which I extracted from the archives and then
analyzed, message by message for him. I thought he was a serious journalist
who was writing some kind of article or review. When I told him this after
he had revealed that he was just passing the time of day, he sent me another
complaint about my using the list only for self-promotion, etc.

I don't want to get any more repetitive messages from him. After this, I
will just shut up on the subject and I hope he does too. He's just heckling.
My apologies to all concerned for having taken the bait again.
