The future of the list?

     I, too, agree with the notion that a change in how the list operates 
     may do us all a service in the long run.
     
     Do I correctly recall from my knowledge of list-lore that it had been 
     moderated in the past?  Maybe we can experiment with this again for a 
     trial period, and see how it affects the discourse.
     
     I'm not sure, but I would imagine that any final decision about this 
     issue is left to the discretion of the list-owners, nix?  (Are you out 
     there, Murthy?)  I can be counted on for help, whatever the decision.
