Would like to here second davemarc's articulate take. People should be
able to police themselves. Interesting that as of this posting, there's no
commentary from two of the main loci of attention. Hmmmmmmm.
Would PList lose uniqueness, its je ne sais quoi, if moderated?
In a sense, if--this--list is unable to function as a benign anarchy, then fuck it.
My thoughts changing as I type, now I don't know what to think!
Is this the tragedfy of the P-list commons? Public space is always
comandeered eventually by those who don't want to *play nice*,
nor to be taught that we ALL benefit from self-moderation.
Next thing you know, the state's taken over the playground!
Bums me the fuck out that things have come to this pass. What's the
etiology of our current malaise? Is this a rhetorical question?
