I think that many people on the list have both the gall and the guts.
I'd volunteer, but I, and perhas others:

1. Don't want to kick off a firestorm of "You? Never did the P-List 
think that you..." 

2. I happen to be a member of the "who cares if it's not Pynchon if 
it effects Pynchon People" school of the list. The messages that I 
object to are nothing but repetition. I'd let most of my messages 
pass.
