I'm wondering if Jules (or anybody else) can, or cares to, link this vague
and seemingly derogatory claim of "an element of deceptiveness in Pynchon's
relations with others" to anything concrete in M&D, the object of this
particular thread? Beyond the discussion of untrustworthy narrators that's
already taken place? Something new and fresh?
Otherwise, this post appears repetitious, covering ground that can as
easily be revisited in the pynchon-l archives for those who care to ponder
past speculation about Pynchon's possible negative personality traits.
Personally, I think you'd do as well to consult the horoscope web site I
mentioned yesterday, but that's just an unsupported opinion I'm
entertaining for the moment.
Cordially,
Doug
