He got around, round, rowowowound...
Last year browsing through a pile of Folk Roots magazines I came across a
picture of Richard Farina playing his harp at a British folksinger's
wedding party. The bride of the occasion was later a member of a gang of
rural cultural guerrillas to which I too belonged. The next time I saw her
I said "I saw a picture from your wedding..." wanting to ask her what she
remembered of the man. "Oh yes" she says as she whizzed on to complete her
mission of the moment, "Bob Dylan. He was just passing through London that
day", and she was gone before I could say more. Maybe next time I see
her I'll slow her down long enough to finish my sentence.

Any English subscribers have copies of the Richard and Mimi albums and be
willing to do me a cassette? I'd love to hear them again.
