     Sigh.  As you naturally should have expected, Vaska, your posting of a 
     private exchange with Andrew had quite the opposite effect from the 
     one you intended.
     
     I will leave it to Andrew to defend himself against your charges (or 
     not, as he chooses), but suffice it to say that the only offensive 
     thing I've seen gone on here is an underhanded method, masquerading as 
     justified righteousness, employed to concoct a conspiracy to 
     intimidate you into silence.  This conspiracy is as ill-conceived as 
     the red herring of sexism on the list, and only serves to deflect from 
     genuine and logical points of Andrew's argument.  Sorry.
