Joe, I think you were right both times, not wrong the first time. I
wholly agree, Vaska made a completely inoffensive observation that did
not involve any accuations against the men on the list.
Some of the responses she got were *way* out of line, and it looks like
Vaska lost her cool and in her well-justified anger did an unjustifiable
thing. Not the first time we've seen such a thing on the list, and in
most cases the rage has eventually given way to something better. I have
good friends on this list whom I originally "met" in some ugly exchange
where I should have minded my manners.
Vaska, you're too good to lose. Like everyone else in this collective
shit-fit, you have apologies to make; everyone else, you too. For my
part, here's my own apology for standing on the sidelines feeling smug
and superior, but really just not knowing what to say.
