Just what I read/thought.

Three separate issue/phases here: 

1. Vaska's initial post, which didn't blame anyone for anything, but 
postulated that some lurking women might be further 
(self-)intimidated my a moderator.

2. The usual knee-jerk "oh, no. more feminist stuff."

3. Vaska's breech of (n)etiquette.

None of them have anything much to do with the others.
