So where have you been, Joe, to address Harrison's message, for instance?

Or where do you stand now regarding this lovely bit of nonsense Charles has
engineered?  Or did you miss something?  The chronology, perhaps?  It's not
such a convoluted plot, for us, Pycnhon-readers, you know.  He writes me a
note; I respond; in his second private message he talks of his *right* to a
public response; I then suggest he post the previous one, too, and give him
my permission to do so; he THEN responds that if *I* feel the charming
"debate" should be made public, I ought to make the decision; and, having
got no reply to that jewel of logic, posts his FIRST message to me to the
list claiming he'd pressed a wrong button or something yesterday morning.  

And no one as much as blinks an eye.  

Except for he courtly wit who offers to silence me by way of ridicule.   

You're a hoot, the whole the lot of you, honourable exceptions duly excepted.
