 What Joaquin said. This list is on a fatal downward spiral due to the egos
of a half dozen people who JUST WON'T LET IT DROP. S/N is lower than 10%
this week. If this doesn't get any better in the next two weeks I intend to
start a new Pynchon list. Almost of you will be welcome there; several of
you will not be notified of the address and will find your way onto the
list over my dead body. It will not be moderated but participants who
obnoxiously waste our time will be dropped from said list by a democratic
showing of virtual hands. Anarchy is fine, but it's really for adults.
