NP:Who knows what about these topics?

I feel a little funny about going on-list with such a lengthy list of
(arguably non-Pynchon) areas for which I'm requesting help/input. I am
doing research, I'm honestly not just trying to slough this stuff off on
others, but I figure we've got a pretty good collection of eyes and ears
here. Therefore, begging forgiveness and expressing great appreciation in
advance, I am soliciting information of the following topics:
--the nuts and bolts of a typical day in the life of a television
writer--where he/she has to be when doing what (this is really where I'm in
most need of help). How much television writing is actuall collaboration,
folks sitting together in a room hashing out a script, how much is solitary
(including re-writes)? Do tv writers have busier times than others as a
reflection of the industry's "seasons", different foci of energy at
different times of the year? Can tv writers now do a lot of work at home or
do they have to be on-studio during production?
--prophecies predicting the destruction of Los Angeles. Nostradamus don't
say nothin (he's so Euro-centric), Edgar Cayce might.
--less-than-egiltarian projects undertaken by Lawrence Livermore Labs, the
Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and any other military/intelligence/space
installations in the Los Angeles area, esp. Burbank, Pasadena, Glendale
(aren't the Skunk Works folks somewhere out there, and I think I'm leaving
someone else out. Neither the JPL nor LLL web pages have been very helpful.
Surprise.)
--Do Mormons believe that Christ will return to North America? Somewhere in
particular?
--Unlikely bonus question: has anyone seen or been to the house in which
Sharon Tate et. al. succumbed? Hey, it's a shot in the dark. Apparently
all the copies of "Helter Skelter" from all nearby libraries have been
pilfered (or confiscated), but a personal report would be even better...
I assume the list would appreciate off-list responses. I'd appreciate *any*
responses.
Aiming for a P-like accuracy of detail,
Craig Bleakley
