It includes an extensive article proposal that I wrote in 1992 for The New
Yorker (where it was bounced sharply) and revised in 1993 for Playboy, where
it is still under consideration, kept alive by my constant nagging. I also
added some links and Davemarc's list of links, too. (Assume that's Ok by
