Poet Laureate?  I would think maybe Bukowski (or is he dead too?).  Gotta
get Vonnegut in there--what's left?  Surgeon General? Nah.  Chairman of
Joint Chiefs of Staff? No, that's Capt. Beefheart.  Chief Justice mebbe.
