Another M&D Review (pointless Pekar)

Harvey's "review of M&D" is out to lunch. He's apparently taken his role as
Austin Chronicles curmudgeon-in-residence way over the top. I agree that he
didn't read the book, though I wouldn't condemn him for that.

I have read very good jazz music reviews that he has written. And he
produces a comic that is usually interesting, and occasionally great,
called _American Splendor_. I would say that to a great degree his fame
derives from being an entertaining whiner.

Usually, his whining contains some element with which the reader can
sympathize. Not this time: it's all veneer, through and through.
