Heh!

It's also pretty plain Letterman's good friend Harv didn't read it. The
kind of Pynchon reader who bogged down along about page 150 of GR and
couldn't go on. The only information Pekar supplies about M&D itself is
cribbed from the flap copy.

Anybody seen the "Mr. Cranky" movie review web site? Where the guy pans
_all_ the movies, frequently with actually very funny putdowns? Setting
Harvey Pekar on M&D looks like an exercise in the same sort of humor.
