It's funny how some of us on this list think alike! :-)
I immediately saw the bloke peering from the doorway, obviously looking at
both Pynchon's back and the photo incident.  He was staring directly into
the camera!
He looks alot like Alistair Crowley (sp?)... The BEAST!!!!!!
