Is there an innate tendency in the human segment of the animal kingdom to attempt suicide at the seemingly most inopportune time? Freudian or maybe Lacanian death wish? Not the p-list qua p-list. That is indestructible and need fear nothing of death. But the folks therein at times can display all folly known to man- and woman-kind.
Well, not really, of course. Fortunately it is only a VIRTUAL reality we exist in. The likelihood of anyone kicking over the chessboard is negligible. And maybe, even, the all-too-human foibles expressed occasionally is the most endearing quality of what we rather miraculously have developed into. So wring our hands if we must at the state we get into. But please, on the other hand, don't change a dot of it. Love it all so much. And no one is really leaving.
