If that was chewin' and spittin', then perhaps we should completely 
change the tone of the list to cater to 11-year olds and other 
special interest groups. Or maybe it's just as well that the boy is 
gone to healthier pastures.

Another option: 
Children could post using a <c> in their subject lines to make sure 
that nobody criticizes them. Women could post with a <f> to make sure 
that we (especially Andrew, Sr. and Steely) don't drive any more of 
them off the list, etc.
