Eulogy for little Andrew

Too bad he left so soon.  Andrew, you greeted us, brought us joy for a
moment, and quietly departed.  Your arrival surprised us; we checked your
background, questioned how you got here, but that was our way of showing
affection.  The only way we know.  If you only knew we loved you, well not
you, really, but this idea we had of you.  Melanie, Gottfried, now poor
little Andrew, gone.  

It has occurred to me that 'Andrew' may have been a robot, programmed to
respond to our list at a future date, advertising a bookstore.  But even
so, a very charming, innocent, lovable little robot.

We will miss you, Andrew.
