Just to let folks know... and I'm not sure it's 100% fact (anyone can lurk
for years ;-) but Andrew wrote me personally and told me he had unsubbed
after learning that Pynchon-L was not a list for young writers. I, like
some of you, posted him ideas on getting started reading Pynchon. I also
told him not to feel overwhelmed at the level of posts that come in -- he
responded saying he was very articulate himself, but that he had unsubbed.
Simple. Oh well, in any case I think he'll pick up CoL49, and we have
already corrupted him! :-)
Watch out for the CDA... man, that thing is SCARY! Let's all pray (even you
athiests out there) that this thing does not pass those judges!!
