Sentimental Journey

     Aah, my first bike without training wheels.  One of those easy-rider 
     affairs where you sat low on a big banana seat, and the handle bars 
     swooped up on either side so held on at about nose level.  Also, the 
     back of the seat had a really high metal inverted U that you could 
     lean back against.  Coaster brakes (bien sur) and long, long streamers 
     protruding from the ends of the handlebars.  
     
     Then came my first 10-speed, a Huffy that was DENIM blue and had a 
     denim seat and denim wrap on the handlebars, not to mention some 
     rainbow stripes around the center frame.  Stylin!
