NYPL: Open-Mike Pynchon Imitator Contest (?) @ KGB

While at bar KGB this past Friday night, I picked up a flyer for upcoming
poetry/fiction readings and was surprised to see the following:

Sunday, April 27th
Open-Mike Thomas Pynchon Imitator Contest
With Emcee Melvin Bukiet

I don't know whether this will be fiction writers imitating Pynchon's
work or struggling actors imitating the man himself,  while reading his
work.....or both.

gotten their answering machine.

KGB (The Kraine Gallery Bar)  is at 85 East Fourth Street, second floor,
between Second and Third Avenue, in the East Village.
