p. 96 - Anyone know what "taking the Machine to New Castle" means?

p. 100 - I wonder if anyone can shed light on the incident in which "Harry
Clasper out-keel'd the Lad from Hetton-le-Hole...?"

Uno mas.  p. 104 - "...the _Scamozetta_ from _I Gluttoni"?  Translation?
Don't we have at least one Italian on the list?
