I picked up a really nice ordnance survey of London a few years back.
According to that Wapping is a little to the East of the main section
of London, seated right along the Thames. Actually, its just to the
east of The Tower. Theres a Wapping Lane, Wapping Wall, and a Wapping
High Street. Its within a half mile of the St. George In The East
and Shadwell sections of London.
