hi--

since i'm new to the list, just thought i'd drop in and introduce myself-- i
teach english at the dalton school (private high school) in nyc. have taught
lot 49 on numerous occasions in senior elective "america in the 1960's'. teach
a joyce seminar and a course in comedy and comic theory. have been reading tp
for a long time (this summer marked by fifth go-round of g.r.).  am currently
at page 200 of m&d, enjoying it immensely (the hubris of those who say it
needs editing!).

anyway, i'm sure i'll be back with questions and comments for you soon...
