Indeed!  I think the book moves extremely quickly.  In fact I'm constantly
amazed how smoothly TRP segues from one scene to another.  He gets the
"frame" of Revd. Cherrycoke's narration set up very quickly at the start.
And thenceforth, while Our Heroes spend greater or lesser amounts of time at
various locales, the pace of the story (IMO) never flags.
