I can't believe, despite all the goofiness and paranoia, someone reading
M&D not be impressed by its humanity. It's a book that is distinctly
Pynchon, yet one can declare, geez I've never read book like that. Pynch
can't write another GR, thank god for that. Kinda think of it as the yin
to GR's yang. GR may be a "terrible beauty born" but M&D tis truly
"beauty" IMHO. Anyone allowed to review a book without finishing should
not be reviewing, more so with M&D as the damn thing gets better as you
move along.
