I also enjoy the occasional "pulp" espionage techno-thriller but I've just
not been able to make it through an entire Clancy book.

Now the movies, on the other hand...I guess I'd have to say that, with
respect to Clancy books, the movies are better than the books.  Maybe he
should just write screenplays?
