Bastaille Day(was cnco de mayo)

 Cinco de Mayo may sell some extra beer, but the French Library in
Boston makes most of its yearly budget (at least, that's what they tell
us volunteers) by their yearly Bastaille day dance-which is $25 per
person, $125 per person if you want to attend the special dinner, AND
they sell $5 lottery tickets on a trip to france....not to mention
revenue made from beaucoup de vin et pate.....
So yeah, Bastaille Day IS celebrated here, just with something of an
elitist slant.  And I wouldn't be surprised if it were a bigger event
here in in New England,where so many of we quebecois and arcadians have
filtered down....I don't remember a lot about cinco de mayo coming up
this year around here, though I remember it from high school spanish
cass....
