Greeting, all. I'm new to the list, and still a bit overwhelmed by the
possibility of sharing a new book on a page by page basis! A novel
experience.

One question: when these messages get archived, won't the M&D threads be
rather hard to follow, if "spoiler" is the only subject line?

by the time I got to this page, I was feeling a bit out to sea..... thought
it might be time to run out and get one of those glossaries made to accompany
Patrick O'Brian novels. Happily, this thought was picked up by TRP in this
pleasant little homage to O'Brian.... 'tho I still don't know what Euphroes
are! (awnings, I assume?)
