Lineland as Pynchon Authority (redux)

Let me say, as a recently added lurker on this list, who
knows not what the fuck the ruckus is about, that i am
saddened this Sunday morn to read Mr. Siegel´s evenhanded
rebuttal to somebody who refers to everybody else as 
"Somebody". 

Not knowing either of these gentlemen or their histories from Dale,
I do recall thinking, "What a sad little shit" and 
"I hope it goes away", and "Perhaps I should unsubscribe"
throughout my brief perusal of M. Giordiano nonsequiturs.
(which unfortunately, i have erased, not having had an
inkling i might need them ever again, which now seems to be
the case)

Now i wdnt normally burden an overactive list with
my nubile cluelessness, but was saddened (did i say that already?)
to see Mr. Siegel have to rise to his own defence.
