     Spot on, mate.  He's made that claim consistently since game three and 
     (as I noted on the 8th) it's probably the reason he played the Pirc 
     Defence in Game Four.
     
     He is, of course, correct that the possibility is there.  Looking at 
     the games, it still wouldn't be surprising if the "Hand of G-d" came 
     into play in Game Two.  (Game Six was just a bollix.)

That's not what happened.  As I understand it, GK noted that Deep 
Blue-generated records of its moves weren't being presented immediately, 
meaning that there was room for IBM--not its machine--to cheat (by having 
its human attendees choose moves and *then* create printouts of them).  He 
asked for the moves to be analyzed over the coming weeks for signs of human 
(or, if you prefer, IBM) tampering.
