The Boston Globe (probably today's , not sure as I ripped the chart out
of a friend's copy ) has Mason & Dixon as NUMBER ONE on the fiction
chart  (nonfiction is Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt--fair to assume
fiction is the bigger seller?)  Is this a national first?  Not bad for a
city with only two acknowledged Pynchon-l members (or are the rest of
you showing proper Boston Reticense?)  This is the Local estselers
charts, compiled from the Brookline Booksmith, Harvards Bookstore, Royal
Discount, Rizzoli. Waterstones, and a couple others (yes, B&N)
